noahs ark nurses appeal 700px

A message from Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.

It has been an intense start to 2021 for all at Noah’s Ark. We are receiving a large number of referrals to Noah’s Ark for children requiring acute care. An already very significant local need has been exacerbated by the pandemic.

I’ve got one small but urgent ask to make. Please will you share this link with your network and help us find the additional specialist nurses required to support the children relying on Noah’s Ark through the pandemic, and beyond?

Your incredible commitment to Noah’s Ark in 2020 helped the charity to finish the year financially stable. Thank you. The funds you donated and raised will now enable us to recruit these nurses.

How our nurses will be ‘The Difference’ in 2021

As our nurse recruitment campaign highlights, Noah’s Ark’s nurses are ‘The Difference’ for seriously unwell babies, children and young people. Whether it’s helping a child spend their final days playing in The Ark’s nature reserve, in comfort (rather than bed-bound, in pain), or enabling a child to attend specialist playgroups (rather than being isolated from peers), our nurses bridge the gap between despair and hope.

As Richard, a Noah’s Ark parent, put it: “Noah’s Ark aims high and always hits those targets. It’s a joy to see the smile on Magnus’ face when he comes to The Ark”.

Noah’s Ark’s ability to rise to the challenge and meet all of the requests for our care for acutely unwell children will only be possible if we recruit an additional 10 nurses. Once again, please do share this email, or the links within, to help us find them.

Thank you for your dedication to London’s most unwell babies and children.
