The HEY! Network (Haringey & Enfield Youth Network) is looking for people ready to Step Forward and spend a few hours a week helping young people in the two boroughs. The closing date for applications is 23rd February.

Step Forward Project – funded by MOPAC

MOPAC have funded the Selby Trust's HEY Network to run the 'Step Forward' volunteering project.

Step Forward aims to find local volunteers who wish to give time to help young people in Enfield and Haringey. Volunteers will be given a full induction, on going training and be placed in one of the activities funded by the Young Londoners Fund in Enfield or Haringey.

Serious Youth Violence and our young people being exploited by criminal gangs is a concern for many people in the community and people want to do something to help. This volunteer programme allows residents to step forward, get training and help young people in a range of projects around both boroughs. Our young people need all the support we adults can give - Seema Chandwani, HEY Network Coordinator

Who can be a volunteer? Anyone over 21 who passes an enhanced DBS check (provided)
