After two men with stab wounds were admitted to the North Middlesex Hospital in the early hours of Thursday morning, police set up a crime incident in Green Lanes, south of the North Circular Road.

After being alerted by staff at the North Mid at 4.31am on Thursday 28th August, police attended the hospital and later set up a crime scene in Green Lanes, Palmers Green, at a location thought to have been where the stabbing incident occurred. Photographs on the UK News in Pictures (UKNIP) website show an area of pavement taped off outside Paddy Power and the Tirana bar and restaurant, opposite the junction with Upsdell Avenue.
The police have stated that both men were in their twenties and did not receive any "life-changing or threatening injuries".
