Bowls Big Weekend at Selborne Bowling Club

Founded by Bert Plumb, the landlord of Ye Olde Cherry Tree, Selborne has been the home of bowling, in the heart of Southgate since 1912.
You will find our friendly club situated in an oasis of peace and calm behind Ye Olde Cherry Tree Pub (access is at the far end of the car park)
Selborne is keen to welcome new members, both experienced and new beginners.
Coaching is free and equipment will be provided for practise sessions.
Traditionally, we have ‘Open Days’ in early May but you are welcome to try out at any time.
Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings are good times to call in and meet members having a 'dress down' roll-up session.
The club also has an active social side.
