Enfield Racial Equality Council: Culture Connect event
Tuesday 2 December 11.00am - 1.00pm
Rumi Mosque

Enfield Racial Equality Council (EREC) is delighted to announce its new project ‘Culture Connect’, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. We have received £20,000 for a one-year project that will bring together the people of Enfield at four events celebrating diversity and promoting unity and understanding.
‘Culture Connect’ was created following overwhelming demand and positive community feedback re our successfully completed ‘United for all Season’s project, that many of you requested us to continue with.
‘Culture Connect’ will explore culture and tradition through group conversations and facilitated discussions, encouraging participants to tell us about their customs and traditions for events and celebrations, such as marriage, death, becoming an adult, etc. Do please contact us if you want to participate at any of our events by giving a demonstration, reading a poem, singing, dancing, or showcasing a talent.
