Exhibition of paintings by Sophia Rahman at Southgate Art Gallery

The current exhibition in the art gallery shows the acrylic and oil landscape paintings of Sophia Rahman. She hopes that her work, through her use of colour and texture, shows her passion for nature.

Sophia was born in Bangladesh where she studied Fine Art at Dhaka College but has resided locally for many decades. She became a worker for a local ‘Mind’ association and now runs therapeutic workshops for adults with mental health issues.

The exhibition is available to view in the gallery during club opening hours until 25th February 2026
