Family event in Broomfield Park: Make a hoverfly lagoon

Broomfield Park, Aldermans Hill, N13 4PZ

Calling all Families!  

In this interactive workshop, you'll learn who these ingenious mimics are and how they develop from eggs to larvae to pupae and finally to adults. Then, you'll create your own lagoon: a mini water habitat that attracts hoverfly larvae. 

At the end of the event,you can take home your lagoon and put it in your garden or on a balcony.

The workshop is open to children aged 6-10. Space is limited to 12 places. If the event is full, please join the waiting list as we may repeat it.
