A celebration of the life and work of renowned local poet Stevie Smith
As part of a celebration of the life and work of renowned local poet Stevie Smith this short evening event will showcase Stevie’s poetry alongside responses of local poets and children to her work.
Widely acclaimed poet Katherine Gallagher will tell us more about Stevie Smith’s life and approach. And, we will hear from the artist Ruth Hallgarten about her inspiration for the permanent artwork commemorating Stevie Smith, installed on Palmers Green High Street.
