Enfield Council is delighted to launch Devonshire Square, a new community and cultural space located in the heart of Palmers Green. The Square is designed to accommodate a wide variety of events and activities led by the local community.

Devonshire Square is the result of several years of consultation with residents, communities and businesses to define this exciting new outdoor amenity. The striking design by Hayatsu Architects includes new mosaic artworks depicting cherished landmarks and key moments in Palmers Green’s history co-designed with pupils from Laurel Park School; informal seating; attractive signage and a community notice board; and new greening elements including a rain garden.
The launch event will commence at 1pm with an official ribbon cutting and welcoming remarks, followed by a performance by Lost Chimes, a London-based duo renowned for their emotive story-telling and cutting-edge live sound. Refreshments from local cafes will be served throughout.
