Mitchhart burst onto the blues scene in the early ’90s, setting Cincinnati’s club circuit ablaze with his fiery guitar work, soulful vocals, and magnetic stage presence. By 1996, he had become the house act at Nashville’s iconic Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar in Printer’s Alley, where his electrifying performances became legendary.
With a discography boasting 16 successful releases—including fan favorites like Grown Ass Man, Live My Life, Live From B.B. King’s, and the Grammy-considered Gotta Get The Feeling Back Again—Mitchhart has captivated audiences worldwide. In 2003, his exceptional talent earned him the prestigious Albert King Most Promising Guitarist Award at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, a testament to his rising influence in the blues genre.
In November 2024, Mitchhart collaborated with blues legend Bobby Rush on the sizzling single “Shake (Make Your Body Move),” a track that fuses gritty grooves with irresistible energy. This collaboration was featured on his latest album, Juke Joint Party, released in December 2024, which showcases Mitchhart’s dynamic range and deep roots in blues and soul.
