We’ve brought together two outstanding live bands for a celebration of the music that defined generations—from the infectious ska sounds of the 1960s to the laid-back reggae anthems that still fill dancefloors today. Add authentic jerk food, a fully stocked bar and the unique atmosphere of The Black Barn, and you’ve got the perfect summer night out.
Ukulele Ska Collective open the evening with their brilliantly entertaining take on ska classics. Armed with ukuleles, bass, drums and rich vocal harmonies, they’ll be performing favourites from the Specials, Toots & The Maytals, Prince Buster, The Selecter, Jimmy Cliff, The Beat, Millie Small and more. It’s energetic, uplifting and guaranteed to get everyone moving.
Reminisce Reggae Band then take to the stage for two superb sets of reggae and ska favourites. Having shared stages with legends including Desmond Dekker, Alton Ellis, Gregory Isaacs and Ali Campbell (UB40), these seasoned musicians know exactly how to create an authentic reggae atmosphere. Expect timeless classics, outstanding musicianship and nothing but good vibes from start to finish.
