Natural Dyeing Workshop at Broomfield Park
Turn plants into colour, and colour into a bracelet you made yourself

There is something quietly magical about making your own colour from scratch. Long before dye came in a bottle, people used the plants around them — petals, leaves, roots — to colour wool and cloth. This summer, Friends of Broomfield Park invites you to try it for yourself in a relaxed, hands-on workshop spread across three sessions.

Whether you're coming with family, friends, or on your own, you'll forage dye plants with our volunteer gardeners, watch the sun slowly transform your wool, and finish with a one-of-a-kind friendship bracelet to take home.

Key Info:
• Just 12 places - so booking essential
• Suitable for ages 12 and above - bring a friend, parents or grandparent and enjoy making together!
• Not suitable for anyone with a wool allergy
