North London Organic Gardeners: Gene Editing - The Future of Food?

Carey Hall, Winchmore Hill Baptist Church, Compton Road, N21 3PA

202111 nlog

Come in person to the large Carey Hall, Winchmore Hill Baptist Church, Compton Road N21 3PA (pathway to the right side of the church, which is located by the Winchmore Hill triangle)

Our expert speaker will be Pat Thomas.

Pat is a journalist and author. She is a former trustee of the Soil Association and a director of Beyond GM in the UK.

Expect to gain a better understanding of 'natural' selection and plant breeding in the context of the very topical Gene Editing. Should we be worried as Organic Gardeners and as consumers?

Visitors are always welcome and we provide light refreshments. There is no charge except for the 50p raffle.

Everyone brings a small contribution plant, book, seeds or whatever you like.
