Online meeting of Enfield Climate Action Forum

Thursday 29 January 7.00pm - 8.30pm

Online

Join our January Forum on the 29th at 7.00 pm where we discuss how we can develop a more sustainable Enfield.

We have some interesting speakers who have worked with other localities and will give us their experience in creating localities for for people and the planet.

This is also our Annual Meeting when we welcome new volunteers to join our Core Committee.

Speakers:

  • Ben Kellard, sustainability expert
  • Al Mathers, Young Foundation
  • Debbie Mace,  Lincoln LocalMotion

Lincoln LocalMotion like several other authorities such as Oxford, Devon and Cornwall have been looking at the "Doughnut Economy" model to see how it can be applied locally to ensure that what happens in their locality does not cross the planetary boundaries of sustainability.

Can we develop a local model like this in Enfield?

Debbie Mace will tell us how they are developing the idea of the donought in Lincoln and how they have involved their communities.
