Bring your broken electronics and textiles and get them fixed for free, whilst picking up your own repair skills!
We're building a new Community Repair Group, with the support of Enfield Council and this is our first Repair Cafe!
Over time, we’re hoping the group will grow to take on more volunteers, new repair areas and bring repair to different areas in Enfield.
Bring your broken (or slow) electronics and textiles and sit down with volunteers who will help fix them for free.
Get involved in the fixing process and experience the beauty of community repair events. Aside from reducing waste and extending the life of your items, this is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more from our volunteer fixers about how to repair your devices and textiles. No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and willingness to learn!
Please book a fixing slot below.
Walk ins are also welcome (13:00-15:30). We will do our best to squeeze you in, but please be aware that we can’t guarantee that a fixer will be available to look at your item. You may also have to wait to be seen by a fixer.
Please note:
- ONE ITEM PER PERSON
- A quick note on electricals specifically: Volunteer repairers can attempt to fix most small household appliances. However, we won't be able to fix the following: white goods, microwaves, printers, e-bikes, e-scooters, or EV batteries, smartphones or tablets, televisions or monitors. Please remember to bring any spare parts, chargers or cables along with your item.
- Our fixers are volunteers and will do their very best to diagnose and fix your item. However, this isn’t always possible. If it's not possible, our fixers will help you diagnose the issue and identify potential next steps.
- Please let us know what you're planning on bringing, we'll let you know [in advance] if this is something we can't repair
- We’re happy to help you learn how to repair. We are not repair professionals, and Repair Cafes are a community self-repair space. Attending means that you take responsibility for your own gadget. Please back up your data.
Interested in volunteering with Repair Enfield at future cafes? Email . There are plenty of ways to get involved, from helping organise the repair cafes and hosting on the day to volunteering as a fixer and organising refreshments.
