SUS is a 'Show Choir' in Southgate (est. 19/09/23), performing songs from musicals.
We bring like minded individuals together who are passionate about performing musical theatre and have the desire to improve their existing skills. SUS is quite unique, in that, much of what we do is specifically tailored to the group, this includes our many custom written vocal arrangements.
SUS is not your average, conventional singing ensemble, we don't just turn up each week for everyone to 'get their notes right'! Through a creative approach, we focus on assisting members in developing their vocal flexibility, stage performance skills, expressive song delivery and the art of 'letting go'. With our unique method of teaching, the group has already reached new heights in such a short space of time.
Musical theatre is about portraying emotions, playing characters and telling stories through acting, singing and movement - This is what makes it so fun and engaging to watch and be a part of. SUS's journey explores some of this craft and we aim to make the learning process as creative and playful as possible, encouraging all of our members to really go for it whole heartedly and have a good time.
