St Harmonica's Blues Club: Guy Tortora Band + Two Man Job

The Southgate Club, 17 Chase Side, N14 5BP (Entrance is in Crown Lane)

We are absolutely delighted to welcome the the Guy Tortora Band back to St Harmonica’s this coming Friday.

Guy Tortora is one of the class acts on the Blues scene and it is wonderful that musicians of his calibre want to come back to the club and play to such an appreciative audience.Guy was born and raised in Pasadena, California and has been London based for some time now. Over the past few years, he has laid claim to a unique niche in the Blues & Roots scene in the UK and Europe, playing small clubs, theatres and festivals. An accomplished guitar player and a songwriter of distinction, he has played live with the likes of Eric Clapton, Pee Wee Ellis, John Cleary and Eric Bibb. Guy has been frequently nominated for British Blues Awards for Blues album and Blues song, and has been described by Paul Jones on his BBC Radio 2 show “Excellent songwriting. Subtle, beautiful….and lovely slide guitar”.On Friday he performs with top drawer musicians as the Guy Tortora Band and this is really a night you should not miss.

Check out further details on his website

A class act deserves a class support and we have that in the form of Sky Wood and Jesse Thomas performing as their duo incarnation 'Two Man Job'.

All in all the perfect antidote to Euro Football. See you there
