St Harmonica's Blues Club: Kirris Riviere & The Delta du Bruit + Malcolm Hine with Merlin Wildman
Friday 13 June 8.30pm
The Southgate Club, 17 Chase Side, N14 5BP (Entrance is in Crown Lane)
We are delighted to welcome Bristol’s finest, Kirris Riviere and the Delta du Bruit, back to St Harmonica’s this Friday, 13th June. If you saw them on their previous visit to the club last year then you already know that you’ll be back on Friday, and if this is your first time then you are in for a real treat. This talented band is going from strength to strength, and with their soulful sound and electrifying performances they have toured extensively in Europe and been nominated in the UK Blues newcomer category. Led in the live arena by the charismatic and multi-talented Kirris Riviere, whose impressive skill set includes the stagecraft of an accomplished theatre actor, the vocal delivery of a learned live singer and blues road man, and the songwriting of a professional script writer and author, the band effortlessly blends their diverse musical influences into a unique and compelling sound.
Kirris Riviere is joined by superb musicians: Evan Newman on keys, Neil Smith on guitar, Alastair Toms on bass and the beast that is Pete Warner on drums. You really mustn’t miss them, a rare chance to see them in the capital.
And the support act is magic too, well it would be with a man named Merlin involved. Malcolm Hine teams up again with Merlin Wildman to bring you magnificent acoustic blues with unrivalled guitar playing.
Malcolm & Merlin will play at 8.30pm followed by two sets from Kirris Riviére and the Delta du Bruit starting just after 9.00pm.
St Harmonica’s Blues Club is a members only club and admission is FREE to card carrying St Harmonica’s Blues Club members. You’ll need your green 2025 membership card for admission this Friday and you can buy this at the entrance on the night. Membership remains at just £10 for the year; thereafter, throughout 2025 admission is free to card carrying members to all Friday Blues evenings and Sunday jam nights. We just ask for a contribution into the hat towards the musicians’ costs
