St Harmonica's Blues Club: Misty Blues + Graham Hine

Having started as a folk/rock singer, Gina Coleman was led down the path of blues after playing a gospel singer in a Williamstown Theatre Festival production of A Raisin in the Sun. Misty Blues was born, bringing blues to the Berkshires in Massachusetts, and has been performing original and traditional blues with influences from folk, jazz, soul, funk and tent revival gospel since 1999. Misty Blues pays homage to the older blues made popular by the bold and brassy women of the time while still paying respect to classic male artists of the 20s, 30s and 40s. 

The band has recorded with notable names from the US scene, performs extensively throughout New England and has toured the continental U.S., UK and Canada. The band has been nominated for several Independent Blues Music Awards and their original recordings have received broad international airplay and topped countless blues, folk and American roots charts.

Support comes from the unique slide sound and material of Graham Hine, aka Brett Marvin, performing his solo set of acoustic blues. Graham will play at 8.30pm followed by two sets from Misty Blues starting at just after 9.00pm

St Harmonica’s Blues Club is a members only club and admission is FREE to card carrying St Harmonica’s Blues Club members.  You’ll need your green 2025 membership card for admission this Friday and you can buy this at the entrance on the night. Membership remains at just £10 for the year; thereafter, throughout 2025 admission is free to card carrying members to all Friday Blues evenings and Sunday jam nights. We just ask for a contribution into the hat towards the musicians’ costs.
