We've been trying to host Keith Thompson since before the first lockdown and are delighted that it has been rearranged for this Friday 22nd October.

Keith, solo and with his band, has been consistently performing in mainland Europe now for over 25 years, where he is well known to a blues following as an exciting live performer. He has been described as a 'musician's musician' and if you like your blues to rock then it doesn't get much better.

In 2019 Keith completed his 10th Blues/Rock album, “Catch the Fire” which features as guests Buddy Whittington (John Mayall etc.) and rising star Laurence Jones. Keith and the band have toured Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Poland, USA & UK. They have appeared at several major festivals on the continent and UK alongside the likes of Ten Years After, Paul Lamb and the Kingsnakes, and Jeremy Spencer (Fleetwood Mac).

The musicians and projects that Keith has worked on comprise a veritable who's who of British blues and rock with full details on his website

On Friday the band will be joined on stage by special guest on guitar, ex Wishbone Ash guitarist Muddy Manninen. Guitar driven blues rock at its best.

Support at 8.30pm comes in the shapes of Tig Trafford with Simon Bennett

Admission is by ticket at £10.00 available on the link below or cash on the door subject to our capacity of 100 not being breached. Best to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

St Harmonica's at the Southgate Club

St Harmonica's is at the Southgate Club on Fridays - apart from the first Friday of the month. Instead of the first Friday of the month, St Harmonica's will be two days later, ie the Sunday after the first Friday (which in some months will be the second Sunday of the month).

St Harmonica's will be sending out the link to book through their weekly email. To subscribe visit

We value our partnership with the Southgate Club and are working together to make sure everyone feels comfortable and can remain as safe as possible.

Capacity is now at 100 so the room will still not feel too crowded; table service has ended, there is no limit to numbers at tables, and dancing is back on the agenda. We still suggest face coverings when moving around, but this is up to you.

So that you know, we give 20 per cent of each week's ticket take to the Southgate Club to help this brilliant venue in their recovery.

Doors are at 7.45pm with support act at 8.30 followed by two sets from the main act.

In the unlikely event that the gig has to be cancelled due to Covid we'll immediately offer a full refund.

Our monthly Sunday Blues Jams  will continue with  free admission and a donation, cash or card, into the hat.
