St Harmonica's Blues Club: Out to Lunch

Friday 25 November 8.30pm

The Southgate Club, 17 Chase Side, N14 5BP (Entrance is in Crown Lane)

202211 out to lunch at st harmonicas

Good to welcome back Out To Lunch for their annual St Harmonica’s outing. Out To Lunch are a North London based Rock and Roll band covering numbers from The Stones, Eric Clapton and Chuck Berry, to Dave Edmonds, Stevie Ray Vaughan and classic Rhythm and Blues. Their foot tapping set will guarantee to get you up and dancing.

Founder member and lead guitarist, Barry Young occupies the stage right position and nails that Fender Strat tone while Dave Brown continues to weave his low note magic on the electric bass. It's been well said that Dave can play anything but he also provides rich harmonies in the backing vocals department. The versatile and charismatic Alan Marshall handles lead vocals and plays rhythm guitar and a mean harmonica. Alan also provides  witty banter between songs. Behind the drum kit the band employs the services of excellent new drummer, Lee Collins; and on keyboards, the incomparable Steve Croft.

Laine Hines provides the support - incomparably authentic acoustic blues.

Live music starts at 8.30pm and admission is free to card holding St Harmonica's Blues Club members (membership for the year costs just £10). Otherwise £10 on the door. The hat is passed around to pay for the musicians.

More music on Saturday 26th November ...... and all for a good cause, too
