St Harmonica's Blues Club: Paul Lamb & Chad Strenz

Sadly, Tim Penn has had to pull out of the scheduled gig for 24th September. We wish him well, and will sort out a date for the New Year for Tim and his Second Line. But what a replacement we've managed to attract at short notice. Due to some cancellations in Europe, Paul Lamb and Chad Strentz, the finest acoustic duo in British Blues, are available to entertain you. 

Paul Lamb and Chad Strentz have played throughout Europe and sold out huge venues with their authentic take on traditional blues, gospel and Americana. Paul Lamb is certainly the UK’s finest harmonica player and is right up there with the best in the world, while Chad Strentz has been described as having one of the finest voices in the business and is a rhythm guitarist par excellence. Their show is just brilliant and you really should not miss them.

The support is not bad either, coming in the form of Graham Hine performing as a trio with the Excells; Mike Excell on bass and Matthew Excell on bongos. Graham is one of the best slide players around. The guitarist who gave Brett Marvin and the Thunderbolts their unmistakable sound Graham's performance with the Excels will take you right back to the sounds of a band who many thought should have been available on the National Health.
