One of the best exponents of original Roots & Blues in the UK, nominated for many awards over the years, Mark Harrison is unique. An evening in the company of Mark and his band is pure joy and those of you who have seen him before will know what we mean.

Mark has appeared on BBC Radio 2, as guest on Cerys Matthews’s show and on Anneka Rice’s Pick Of The Week show. His unique songs are attracting a lot of attention and he has established a growing reputation for the individuality of his music. He takes elements of blues and folk, adding his own twist to produce something totally original. His music, with its memorable tunes and strong and compelling rhythms, has been going down very well with audiences of all kinds and ages. He plays with some of the best musicians on the circuit and the three piece band pack as much punch as any electric outfit. His banter between songs, with wry observations and takes on life, is up there with the best.
His new album, 'The Road to Liberty' is a double album, with 21 original songs on a huge variety of topics you don't normally hear songs about, and with a huge variety of sounds, atmospheres and arrangements. will also be available on the night

‘Really excellent _ he takes very real things, normal things that happen in life, and writes about them in a way that makes you think afresh about them’ (Paul Jones, BBC Radio 2)

‘One of the British roots' best. Everyone should be talking about Mark Harrison' (Classic Rock Magazine)

'A bit different and kinda groovy too' (Cerys Matthews BBC Radio 2
