Nubia Way

Nubia Way is an unassuming cul-de-sac of thirteen timber framed houses built by Fusions Jameen, London’s first black housing co-operative, on a narrow site in Downham, Lewisham in the late 1990s. The documentary celebrates the legacy of Nubia Way and examines self-building as an act of resistance against the housing discrimination faced by Black British Communities.

Our Land

"Our Land" is the story of two black food growers from London as they search for land to launch their farming businesses. "Our Land" won a BAFTA in the Short Form Programme category in 2022. Featured local growers Robbie Samuda and Chris Chipatiso will be participating in the Q&A.
