A group of Palmers Green residents who are keen to make PG a more beautiful and thriving place have got together to form the Palmers Green Action Team.  Their plans include a spring clean of the town centre on 11th May.

palmers green action team logoThe Action Team was started by a group who met through MyTime Café owner Brian Lewis. The group had their first success in the runup to last Christmas, when, in conjunction with local businesses who raised money to reinstate the Christmas lights, they organised window decorations and helped the switch on be a fun event. Continuing the festive theme, their next project is to pep up the annual Palmers Green Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday 6th April.

Watch the video interview with Francis Sealey to find out what prompted Däna Roberts and Christine Elissa to join the Action Team and what future plans they're working on.

If you're interested in joining the Palmers Green Action Team, you can contact them at and find them on social media:

  • Twitter: @pgactionteam.

And if you'd like to join in the big spring clean, the group will be meeting at the Triangle at 10 am on Saturday 11th May to help with litter picking, graffiti removal and art projects to spruce the place up.

Outstanding branding, looks to be full of a modern image for Palmers Green and additionally says action to me. Fingers crossed now for the team planning to do improvements.
