Is it really too much to ask Virgin Media to design a door catch to lock these cabinets . . . or is it simpler to add another band of tape each time a cabinet is opened? I suppose they are trying to copy the design of this year's Serpentine Pavilion. This pavilion is in Stratfield Park Close.

Maybe they should ask Christo to wrap each cabinet - remember he was the artist who wrapped up the Reichstag as well as the Grand Canyon.

We have a similar box in Old Park Road. After several tweets and emails I did get them to fix the doors, but suspect it's only until they're next opened.

I assume this is the same collision as reported at bowesandbounds.org/events/two-mercedes-collision-in-palmers-green-a111-closed

Anyone know how it happened?

This strikes me as a very dangerous junction for both cars and pedestrians. Hazardous when cars are turning right, hazardous for pedestrians in general as there is no pedestrian phase. Cars go across too fast and there is a lot of red light running.

I saw the wreckage. Looked like a northbound Green Lanes car waiting to turn right into Hedge Lane was in collision with a southbound Green Lanes car.

Must've been going at some speed.
