Forum topic: More secure cycle storage: Where would you like it?

There was a time when I planned to make a bid for one of these, but then I was able to build my own place for a bike so I dropped the idea. Now I wonder whether there is a case for providing at least one in most substantial streets, partly to remind people that severe climate change is a likely outcome if people worldwide don't reduce their emissions.

On the other hand you couldn't say that they add something to the street scene ................ but then neither do continuous lines of variously parked cars.
