Let's talk topics
Within a two-hour workshop we will be discussing five key topics that highlight the challenges some may go through when dealing with cancer and its treatment.
- A deep dive into the different techniques of shaving, including preparation, type of shave and post-shaving tips
- Looking after our skin's fitness throughout treatment and beyond is key to having confidence in looking and feeling healthier.
- Cancer treatment can have a large impact on what we can wear, knowing our body shapes can help with styllng for confidence
- Keeping our bodies moving can have a huge positive impact dukring and after treatment. Exercise done correctly and safely.
- Foods can make such difference to how we are feeling throughout treatment, it's important to keep healthy eating habits.
The Nightingale are working with Look Good Feel Better to bring men in Enfield with cancer a FREE new workshop to benefit their physical and mental health.
The Facing Cancer Together workshop provides expert advice on skincare during and post cancer treatment focusing on five key topics:
🪒 Shaving techniques
🧴 Skin fitness
🙋♂️ Body confidence
💪 Safe exercising
🍏 Healthy eating habits
This is a great way for men to meet other men on similar cancer journeys, to share experiences and to gain confidence and feel like themselves again.
Everybody receives skincare and grooming products to try out during the workshop and take home with them.
The next FREE workshop takes place on Friday 16th January at 1pm at the Nightingale Cancer Support Centre, 187a Baker Street EN1 3JT.
