children running through wooded area

Sally's Adventure Club is back in Broomfield Park on Wednesday mornings. For kids aged 12 months to 5 years.

In a world where free play and exploration for children is being suffocated by rules and regulations it is paramount that we allow our children to take healthy risks, teaching them about danger and encouraging independent decision making and problem solving. Yes, there may be the odd stumble over the tree roots and a few scratches or scrapes, but as the little ones learn how to independently navigate themselves over logs and tree stumps, confidence and personal development will blossom.

Sally Bailey's upbringing involved playing in the woods for hours, making dens, mud pies and telling stories in fields of barley and making golden memories. And in Broomfield Park every Wednesday morning, between 10 and 11 and in (almost) all weathers, she'll be recreating a little bit of this lost world for today's kids.

For £10 per child (£5 per sibling), Sally offers an hour of immersive story telling, forest crafts, music, bubbles and puppets:

Crafts, discovery, movement, communication, socialisation, natural learning, music and loads of fresh air.

Watch as the seasons change, as we use all of our senses and explore the Orchard of Broomfield Park, an enclosed area where your little adventurers are free to roam.
