The Enfield Society have posted on Instagram the news that the landlords of the Orange Tree in Winchmore Hill are retiring this month and the pub is likely to close.

The current landlords of the Orange Tree pub in Highfield Road N21 have announced their intention to retire this month (February 2026). The news was given to regulars of the fortnightly pub quiz on Thursday 5th February, and the quiz on the 19th will be last one.
Enfield Society sources believe that the pub's owner has done a deal with a developer, so sadly it seems likely the pub will close.
The building was added to the Enfield Local List of heritage buildings in 2023.
