The Grassroots 4 Palestine campaign is recruiting teenagers for a Play in a Day project linked to a visit to London by young Palestinians in February 2026.

The Play in a Day, "Beyond the Checkpoint", will be developed and performed at a venue in Enfield or Haringey on 8th February 2026, in connection with a visit to London by a group of Palestinian teenagers, hosted by Grassroots 4 Palestine.

London teenagers (aged between 14 and 18) will spend the day together with the Palestinian visitors creating the play and learning dabke (the visitors will be accompanied by a dabke teacher). The play will be developed during the day on 8th February and the public performance will take place the same evening.

There will also be a short pre-briefing session (probably before Christmas) so that potential performers can hear more about the project, and know what to expect.
