Heaven touching Earth - Saturday 3rd February 2018 at 7.30pm

Latymer School Edmonton

Adoramus’ Heaven Touching Earth concert of popular sacred choral music covers a wide range of Baroque, Classical and Romantic works. There will be the sublime setting of Panis Angelicus by Cesar Frank and the simple yet profound Ave Verum by Elgar when we will be delighted to be joined by the wonderful voices of the Beniaminek Polish Children’s Choir. These contrast with ever popular Jesu, Joy of man’s desiring by J.S.Bach, and the joyous Hallelujah Chorus for which we will be joined by friends from church choirs across North London. Alongside classic anthems and oratorio extracts the Adoramus Orchestra will perform Smetana’s beautiful river depiction, Vltava and Johann Strauss’ toe tapping Radetzky March.

Conducted by David Hooke
