We are an orchestra based in the London Borough of Enfield, open to all amateur musicians old and new.

If you have ever played an orchestral instrument and wish you could pick it up again we are the group for you.

We do not have any minimum requirement we just ask that you enjoy yourself.

We’re a friendly bunch and always open to new players coming along, so get in touch.

  • We are not for profit, all unused money is filtered straight back into the orchestra
  • We are committee led, all members have a say in what happens
  • We are friendly and sociable and you may even find us chatting in the pub after rehearsals

If you have ever played an orchestral instrument or still do and wish to play in an orchestral ensemble that is very relaxed, without the pressure and minimum standard often required by other amateur classical ensembles we are the place for you.

Unlike many other orchestras we do not ask for players to be a certain grade in order to become a member. Our members are from all different backgrounds. Our aim is to get people that used to play an instrument back into playing again.

Whether you played at school,  college or university and haven't played for years or if you have taken up an instrument as a hobby and need a little help we are there for you.

Our rehearsals are based on a 10 week quarter so we have 40 rehearsals a year including at least two concerts. Usually just before summer and Christmas.

Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 8-10pm, the venue is Christ church URC, Chase Side, Enfield, EN2 6NJ
