Need help with a sewing, patchwork, mending, knitting or crochet project? During lockdown Stitch! is offering individual one-on-one video tuition and guidance (via Zoom) with teachers Carol Balfe, Susan Mehmet, Sharon Wallin and Kay Dudman in any of the sewing, knitting and crochet disciplines.
If you are interested, just email Suzanne at with your project details and any photos.Stitch! says that no project is too big or too small!
Price - £20 an hour tuition (£30 for 2 hours tuition)
The charity Maxability runs ceramics, pottery, art and photography classes to help physically or learning disabled adults to discover and develop their latent talents and artistic abilities. It is now also running classes for the general public, currently online. Their next four-week class starts on 22nd February. Read more

After a busy fortnight rebuilding and settling into their new home inside Palmers Green post office, Stitch! is back up and running. The previously bare and boring shop in front of you when you enter from the street is now a cosy and colourful treasure trove of fabrics, wools, threads, buttons and general haberdashery. Read more
Making History is a Lottery-funded project designed to encourage young people to express their emotions and experiences relating to COVID-19 and the London lockdown. Platinum Performing Arts is inviting children aged 9-18 from the Enfield community to take part in free creative workshops at Millfield House - pottery, dance, poetry, spoken word, fitness & wellbeing and more!
