You're invited to the Ruth Winston Centre on Friday afternoon for a taster session to explore how drama could boost your confidence and enrich your life through connection with other people.
The session, from 1pm to 2pm on Friday 19th September, is an introduction to a twelve-week course run by ARTeach, a music and drama school based in Whetstone and a recent winner of a Performing Arts School of the Year award.
Drama Director Danay Bouzala says:
"Our friendly drama sessions are designed especially for adults in the community! Each class begins with light warm-up games to get everyone moving, laughing, and feeling at ease. It’s a fun and supportive space to connect with others, make new friends, and boost confidence.
"Together, we’ll explore simple acting exercises and practice small scenes, all building towards a joyful group performance just before Christmas. Friends and family will be invited to watch and celebrate what we’ve created together- a wonderful way to share the season and the friendships made along the way.”
The charge for the taster session is £5, and if you then enrol in the course, that will cost £120 for twelve weeks.
