Cathy Taylor's ceramics exhibition The Trees of Broomfield Park has been extended. There are two more opportunities to see these beautiful artworks in Broomfield Conservatory, surrounded by the park with the trees that inspired the artist.

Not only inspired by the trees of the park, but also, in some cases, uncannily like the real thing, these unusual works of art are on show for one additional week.

Cathy Taylor's ceramic artworks are distributed among the exotic plants in Broomfield Conservatory
Clay moulds, taken from the tree bark, have been used to create large bark-textured vases, and pressed leaves have been turned into clay in a variety of forms. Amongst the lovely plants of the Conservatory, you will also find a scattering of brightly coloured "autumn leaves".
Don't miss the large painted bowl, influenced by Cathy's Chinese paintings, or the hanging porcelain sculpture in the porch, inspired by wingnuts, and other catkins.
The exhibition has been extended, and will be open this coming Sunday, 16th, and Wednesday 19th November, between 2pm and 4pm. Don't miss it - it's nine years since Cathy's last exhibition here!
