Age UK Enfield’s Home Care Service provides in-home support which enables people to continue to live independently in their own homes.
Our fully trained and vetted staff are experienced and professional, with the shared aim of providing high quality, respectful, and friendly care services to all of our clients.
The service enables clients to maintain an active and fulfilled lifestyle in a stimulating environment, with a focus on choice and independence. We work with clients to develop a care package which best suits their requirements, with a minimum of three hours per week to more comprehensive packages. The types of support clients may choose include:
- Domestic duties eg laundry, shopping, light housework
- Mealtime visits to help with food preparation and eating
- Creative and social activities eg crafts, games, reminiscence work
- Support with medication
- Personal care including washing, dressing and bathing
- Escorting to the shops or appointments
- Carer respite
