PG resident Steve Acroyd has been undergoing expensive treatment for a rare type of brain cancer. He's made tremendous progress, thanks to generour donations from others, but the money is running out. A 'big fat raffle' offers you the chance to win some excellent prizes, and Steve the chance to continue to get better.

You may remember previous reports about the campaign being run by Steve's wife Francesca, in June 2023 and in March last year, when supporters went on a sex-themed march in central London.

Steve, Francesca and daughter Autumn have enjoyed two years of his life that they didn't expect. On the Go Fund Me website, Francesca sums up what this has meant and explains how the next bit of fundraising will work:

The immunotherapy treatment we’ve been able to access has allowed Steve to make ‘unheard of progress’. But it’s been a tough journey, that’s for sure. For all of us, one way or another.

But when I see that tumour disappearing before my eyes, see Steve walk, unaided for the first time in years, see his personality revived and his hope restored, I know this is the right this we’re doing.

So our fight continues and this time we’re having a raffle! A Big Fat One!

There are some amazing prizes Coldplay, Beyonce, Stereophonics, Florence, Kylie and Lionel Tickets etc ... you can even meet McFly (if that's your bag) holiday home stays, afternoon teas, posh hampers galore, theatre tickets, even a flight in a plane!

It’s tough times for a lot of people right now, we know that. But if you think you could buy a few tickets, or share the raffle page with ten of your contacts, and maybe ask them to do the same, then we can get this thing off the ground, get Steve the on-going care he needs and win a lovely prize to shake off the winter blues.
