photo of refurbished shelter outside oakwood tube station by james cracknell

I've shamelessly stolen this photo of the newly restored shelter at Oakwood Station from a tweet by James Cracknell. James is editor of Enfield Dispatch, and by way of recompense I'd like to remind everyone of the all-round coverage of the borough that we get thanks to the Dispatch. If the recession bites so deeply that the paper doesn't get enough advertising revenue, there's a risk that we might lose this essential source of local information and opinion. But we can keep it going if enough people pay a small monthly amount to become members.

And while we're on the subject of tube stations, can we have Southgate smartened up next?
