Palmers Green Town Centre Improvement Project 2012: Survey responses

Question 1.  What do think is good about the area?

Good – mix of shops and restaurants – not too many chains. Waitrose , farmers market

Question 2.  What do you think is less good about the area?

Less good -0 fast food outlets

Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?

Improve – support for small businesses. Ban of chewing gum

Clutter – would be good to reduce this

Look of shops – damage was done when ground floor ???? replaced with plastic glass – don’t think much can be done now !

Question 4e. Specific aspects – type and range of shops

Type of shops – some encouraging signs – Baskervilles, the kitchenware shop at the triangle – you need interesting “one offs ” to attract wealthier shoppers

Other  -there is always much more of a community feel in PG than Southgate so I think much is being got right
