Palmers Green Town Centre Improvement Project 2012: Survey responses

Question 1.  What do think is good about the area?

Good – nice park (except for the deteriorating old house!!) – an eyesore! Bus services to and from Enfield are frequent and usually on time. Good train service. Nice tea shop opposite park (Baskervilles)

Question 2.  What do you think is less good about the area?

Less good -too much rubbish (cans etc) thrown onto pavements. (Including cigarette ends)D og mess!! (not scooped up)graffiti still occurring

Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?

Improve – more bins for rubbish and dogs mess.

Parking – can’t comment as not a car driver anymore

Question 4c. Specific aspects – clutter

Clutter – parts of pavement are a bit narrow in places due to posts

Type of shops – more interesting shops needed especially good clothes shops

Question 4f. Specific aspects – amount and use of pavement space

Pavements – narrow in places

Question 4g. Specific aspects – the Triangle public space

Triangle – crossing near “smiths” not in good position (too near the corner)

Question 4h. Specific aspects – Greenery

Greenery – more flower planters would be nice

Other- more receptacles for dog mess needed.
