Question 1. What do think is good about the area?
Broomfield park, shopping parade on Aldermans hill (particularly Baskervilles). Triangle shopping especially Waitrose and Morrison's. range of restaurants
Question 2. What do you think is less good about the area?
traffic – particularly speeding traffic on Aldermans hill. Problems crossing roads to park and in green lanes. Noise pollution from rush hour traffic. Speeding along Aldermans hill
Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?
- traffic calming measures 0 20mph speed limit. No more betting shops. New tree put in triangle and some flowers / bushes would make it more attractive

see above. Traffic speeds up and down Aldermans hill so very difficult to cross. Traffic turning right from old park road going up Aldermans hill –lots of near misses
Question 4b. Specific aspects – parking
difficult to cross Aldermans hill by shops because of parked cars / vans. Pinch point between lakeside and Grovelands road on Aldermans hill very difficult – several accidents recently.
Question 4c. Specific aspects – clutter
signs at triangle rather ugly and bus stop by station on Aldermans hill with sign so big that obscures view of oncoming buses.
Question 4d. Specific aspects – look of the shops/architecture
basic architecture attractive but spoiled by some of shop fronts and neon signs and satellite dishes
Question 4e. Specific aspacts – type and range of shops
fairly good but no more betting shops or pubs. Waitrose has been a good addition, lifted area with a “quality” shop. Seem to have a lot of charity shops and pound land shops
Question 4f. Specific aspects – amount and use of pavement space
very narrow by PG station and heading to triangle.
Question 4g. Specific aspects – the Triangle public space
Better use around triangle – could be nice area to sit if bench with flower bed / bushes and new tree
Question 4h. Specific aspects – Greenery
as above. Need greenery in triangle space. Entrance to PG station could be improved, maybe have planters
