Question 1. What do think is good about the area?
Good – plenty of very good restaurants, streets kept in reasonably clean condition, Broomfield park likewise kept in very good order
Question 2. What do you think is less good about the area?
Less good – not enough retail outlets, ie bookshops, record shops, toy shops, too many hairdressers and nail bars
Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?
Improve – encourage new businesses filling the, too many, vacant shops which create a negative aspect to the area
Question 4a. Specific aspects – traffic
Traffic – traffic doesn’t seem to be a problem in palmers green as it flows through the area very well and we have adequate crossing areas
Traffic / hedge lane – (calming) not needed
Question 4b. Specific aspects – parking
Supports ½ hr free parking. Would encourage more use of town by enabling and encouraging short term shoppers to the area
Does not support Sunday parking charges
