Enfield Council is inviting deaf and disabled people to apply to be members of the Transport, Climate and Place Disability Reference Group (DRG).

The DRG was set up in 2023. Its purpose is to ensure that the views of deaf and disabled people are heard throughout the design phases of Enfield’s Transport, Climate and Place projects and initiatives, and that their experiences and views are considered through engagement processes.
Projects include school streets, walking and cycling routes, quieter neighbourhoods, town centre public realm projects, public art, activation of community spaces, parklets, climate action, cycle training, cycle parking, the Dr Bike service, and community events. Enfield communities are able to engage in these projects including work in neighbourhoods, town centres, and along walking and cycling routes to help shape their designs.
Team members will be paid £100 for each meeting they attend.
More detailed information is available on the Let's Talk Enfield website, including an online application form and a link to the full terms of reference.
If you wish to apply in person, staff will be available to help at the council's two community hubs, at Enfield Town and Edmonton Green libraries, on Mondays to Fridays between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
The deadline for applying is Sunday 7th June 2026.
