Noise pollution – an issue that also needs attention

Reader Panayiota raises important points about the negative impacts of noise pollution, especially on vulnerable people: I am writing because I have noticed that the issue of fumes and air pollution is rightly discussed within the community, but noise pollution does not seem to receive the same attention. Constant traffic noise, revving engines, horns, construction, fireworks and other loud or unpredictable noises can make it difficult for people to sleep, relax and feel safe in their own homes.
