Enfield Council are asking residents of the borough to help them identify any ash trees that are showing signs of Ash Dieback disease.

 

There are several key signs to look out for which can help to identify Ash Dieback:

So far no diseased trees have been found in the borough.  If anyone thinks they have found a tree showing signs of the disease, they are asked not to try to take samples, which could help spread the diseaase, but instead to contact the Council or Forestry Commission.
