No great surprise to learn that the new Great Northern Metro timetable that comes into force on 21st May does not provide any increase in services on the Hertford to Moorgate line via Palmers Green. We remain stuck on half the service level that we enjoyed pre-pandemic.
Remembering little Marigien, run over in Winchmore Hill

As has been the case on second Sundays for a good few years, on 14th May the Food Gatherer will be running a farmers' market at Forty Hall Farm. But a novelty this month will be a new climate-friendly and family-friendly way of getting there. The Family Bike Club is organising a ride up to Forty Hall from their base next to Enfield Chase Station, using a quiet low-traffic route and led by a highly experienced cycling instructor and cycle ride marshal.

Free disability tennis coaching sessions at Mayfield Tennis Club
Starting on 10th June, Mayfield Tennis Club in Palmers Green is offering free disability coaching sessions. The sessions are at 12.30 on Saturday afternoons and will run for six weeks.
