Sarah Fecunda, who's a Co-op Member Pioneer, has been in touch with the following message:
Hi, My name is Sarah and I am currently the Co-op Member Pioneer for Hendon. However, I am mostly based in Palmers Green.
Being a member pioneer we are encouraged to reach out to different organisations within our areas to see what the Co-op can do to help the community. The aim is for Member Pioneers to connect people within their local community, bringing them together to start conversations, identify pressing issues and use the organisation’s reach and assets to make positive changes.
Seeing that these are particularly uncertain and tough times it is more important than ever to try and collect as much information as possible as to how the community is and how we may help each other through this period.
I would love to hear how your organisation is coping with the needs of your community etc as well as how maybe, if and where possible, the Co-op could help to support the wider community.
