Become a Friend of Cooking Champions today!

While we admire and support the Christmas campaigns that we see pop up in December, we also know that help is urgently needed all year round, each and every year. As some people pack away after the festive break, we are still here.

Our support is not limited to a food package, but it leaps beyond - we form connections, we listen and respond to everyone who steps through our doors. We open up a warm, safe, environment which aims to feel like a home away from home.

For us to continue to thrive and grow, and keep supporting as many people as possible, we are asking you to become a Friend of Cooking Champions. Even a donation of just £5-10 per month can make a HUGE impact on the lives of those who come through our doors.

Cards for Good Causes - no PG shop this year

The Cards for Good Causes shop, a regular visitor to PG for nearly three decades, will be missing from Fox Lane this year. Diana Goforth explains why.

Cards for Good Causes 2021

For the past 27 years we have hosted Cards for Good Causes selling charity Christmas cards and goods at Palmers Green URC in Fox Lane. This year Cards for Good Causes has decided to reduce the number of its outlets and, as a result, our shop will not be opening.  You will appreciate how disappointed we are, but hope that we will be back in 2022.

Meantime, cards can be ordered online at  www.cardsforcharity.co.uk or, if you are passing, there are shops at St James in Piccadilly, at St Paul’s in Covent Garden and at Holy Trinity Church in Sloane Street.
