Climate Change, COP27 and Loss & Damage
EnCaf held a meeting in November 2022 where we talked about how climate change tragedies across the globe impact on many of the communities here in the UK
Here Jenny Edwards from EnCaf goes over what happened at COP27, what was successful and also what it did not address adequately enough.
She talked especially about loss and damage or reparations to this countries most seriously affected by climate change that was largely caused by the now developed world. The importance of climate justice was expressed as what we face is not just a national problem but a global one as well
